Single Wrap Hinge Information

• Made in America!
• The single-wrap leaf is made to fit 3/4″ plywood (or any lumber that measures 3/4″).
• Single-wrap piano hinges offer a stronger attachment because the wrap leaf attaches to the face of the plywood or lumber rather than the edge grain.
• The knuckle length is 1/2″ and the screw holes are 2″ apart center to center. There are 70 screw holes per hinge.
• This hinge is available in 48″ lengths. If you need a longer hinge, you can install multiple hinges end to end with no loss of strength.
• The “mill” finish on these hinges has minor scratches and imperfections from the mill.
• We are not able to make cuts on this piano hinge, but it can be cut by the end user with a hacksaw.
• Screws not included: this hinge will work equally as well with either #5 or #6 flat head screws. #5 FH screws will fit more flush to the surface than #6 FH screws which will sit slightly proud of the surface.

• Double Wrap (aka full wrap) piano hinges have both leaves formed with 90-degree bends.
• Full wrap piano hinges offer a stronger attachment because the wrap-around leaves (screws) install across the grain instead of into the edge grain effectively working like a surface mounted hinge.
• The knuckle length is 1/2″ and the screw holes are 2″ apart center to center. There are 94 screw holes per hinge.
• This hinge is available in 48″ lengths. If you need a longer hinge, you can install multiple hinges end to end with no loss of strength.
• The “mill” finish on these hinges has minor scratches and imperfections from the mill.
• We are not able to make cuts on this piano hinge, but it can be cut by the end user with a hacksaw.
